Congrats on taking this step to invest in yourself and your life! I work with adult individuals, couples, and families and specialize in overcoming challenges with substance misuse, codependence, anti-dependence, trauma, and ongoing family conflict. I use a combination of exploratory, experiential, and solution-focused approaches. I strive to meet you where you are and offer the gift of trust.
We start with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so we can learn more about each other and discuss what you hope to have happen in therapy. Finding the right fit for your therapy needs is very important. If we seem to be a fit, we will schedule an Initial Evaluation session.
Initial Evaluation: The Evaluation lasts about 60 minutes and is an opportunity to further discuss what brings you in, your hopes for therapy, the Client Questionnaire, the Informed Consent Therapy Agreement, and any further questions you have. If we choose to proceed with therapy together, we will then discuss future scheduling options. The fee for the Initial Evaluation is $135.
Ongoing Therapy Options Individual Session: An individual session lasts 45 to 50 minutes, and the fee is $120.
Couples Session: A couples session lasts 60 minutes, and the fee is $135. Family Session: A family session can include any family members related to or impacted by the issues at hand. Sometimes this includes close family friends as well—the family we adopt. I have worked with two-person families on up to seven-person families, and with participants ranging in age from 12 to 80. All family types are welcome. A family session lasts 60 minutes, and the fee is $150.
I typically recommend we meet weekly for the first three to four weeks as we establish the foundation of our work together. Sometimes I recommend we meet more or less frequently throughout our therapeutic relationship depending on your unique goals and progress. While I make treatment recommendations, it is important for you to know you are in control of how often we meet.
Please complete and bring both forms with you to the Initial Evaluation.
Insurance, Payments, and Billing I am an out-of-network provider. This affords you the opportunity to be in control of your treatment instead of your care being dictated by an insurance company. As an out-of-network provider, our work is not subject to visit limits or extensive care review. This increases your privacy and control of your treatment. If you have out-of-network benefits and wish to file claims for reimbursement with your insurance company, please let me know. I will happily supply you with a SuperBill after each session containing all the necessary information needed to file a claim. I accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards.
